Our Story & Purpose

Berean Generation Outreach Ministry is a vibrant, Spirit-filled church located in the heart of Accra, Ghana, with a vision for the nations of the world.

The Berean Spirit

Our name is inspired by the people of Berea in the Book of Acts, who were praised for their noble character. They received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what they were told was true. This is the heart of our community: a deep passion for the infallible Word of God.

Our Purpose

We exist to see lives transformed by the authentic, powerful presence of the Holy Spirit. We believe in a gospel that is not just taught, but demonstrated—with signs, wonders, and the tangible touch of God in our services and our daily lives.

To preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, accompanied by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Statement of Faith

The Inspired Word of God

We strongly believe that the Bible contains the infallible and inspired Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 20-21

The One True God

We believe that there is only one God, who eternally exists in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

Ephesians 4:5-6, Gen. 1:26

The Deity of Christ

We believe in the deity of Christ. Jesus was born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Ghost, died and rose again from the dead bodily, and bodily ascended into heaven.

John 1: 1-4; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:1-5

The Rapture & Second Coming

We believe in the rapture of the church and the second coming of Christ.

Cleansing from Sin

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus.

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit

We believe that regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation.

Divine Healing

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body and salvation for the soul of everyone that believes.

Enablement of the Holy Ghost

We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Ghost, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness.

Sanctification

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15: 16; 1 Corinthians 6:11

The Final Resurrection

We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgement.
